One of our greatest passions is not only sharing our love of the backcountry with others, but also helping others to learn how to safely, effectively and efficiently enjoy it as well.

When Jordan came to Montana over 20 years ago he knew he wanted to learn how to get himself and his future family into the backcountry safely and efficiently. He began researching and learning and was fortunate enough to find many people who are very well trained and versed on the rapidly fading art of packing horses and mules and building the equipment that allows you to do so.

Now, decades later, he has been able to take that knowledge and create ways to pass it on to others. Whether you are looking to pack in a basic camp for hunting, create a plush camp for your buddies or pack your whole family in for a summer vacation they will never forget we are here to help.

Jordan has years of experience as a hunting guide in various parts of the Montana backcountry, including the Bob Marshall, the Absoroka Beartooth Wilderness, The Little Belt Mountains and more. He has been employed by numerous outfitters to help guide and gained knowledge, perspective and methods from each to create a teachable way of safely getting gear and people into the backcountry on the backs of horses and mules.

Our consulting services are very fluid and molded to each individual/outfits need. We have taught a full packing class to a group of guides, we have consulted with couples on how to safely pack their animals, we have shared our knowledge of animals, gear and practical habits. For this reason we do not have set packages to offer but instead would love to talk to you and curate a session based on your needs, desires and goals.
